“I needed to rewire an unknown amount of 1930s-era knob and tube wiring in an old house; it was a daunting project and ended up being most of the house. They were willing to move ahead one day at a time…”

Wiring done right, behind the walls
Most wiring ends up hidden behind drywall for decades. That’s why we take the time to do it properly.
We wire new homes and buildings, renovations and basement developments, and replace old wiring in older homes. We also add the circuits a modern home needs: EV chargers, hot tubs, heat pumps, stoves and dryers.
Connections built to last
A lot of wiring uses each outlet to carry power on to the next one. If one outlet fails, everything after it can stop working. We pigtail the connections inside every box, so power doesn’t depend on the device. If an outlet fails, the rest of the circuit keeps working.
What we wire
- New homes, shops and buildings
- Renovations and basement developments
- Knob and tube and aluminum wiring
- New and moved outlets and switches
- Stove, dryer, A/C and heat pump circuits
- Electric car chargers
- Hot tubs
- Data and network cabling
Adding a big load? We check whether your panel can handle it first. If it can’t, we can upgrade the panel as part of the same job. Building a shop or garage? See shop, quonset and outbuilding wiring.

FAQ
Common questions
What’s the difference between your wiring and “standard” wiring?
Many electricians use each outlet to pass power along to the next one. If one outlet fails, everything after it can go dead. We pigtail the connections in each box instead, so power doesn’t depend on the device. If one outlet fails, the rest of the circuit keeps working.
Do you wire basement developments and renovations?
Yes. We plan the circuits, lighting and outlets with you, pull the permit, rough in before drywall, and come back to finish once walls and cabinets are in.
Can you replace knob and tube or aluminum wiring?
Yes. We replace knob and tube wiring in older homes, often room by room, and repair or update aluminum wiring with the right connectors and devices. Insurers often ask for this before they’ll cover an older home.
Will I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger or hot tub?
Sometimes. It depends on your panel and what’s already on it. We check before we start, and if you need more capacity we can do the panel upgrade as part of the same job.
Do you pull permits for wiring work?
Yes. We pull the electrical permit for work that needs one and make sure it’s done to code.
Are estimates free?
Yes. We can usually give you a ballpark the same day. A full written quote on paper takes about a week.
